Founded in November 2002, C-tec Cable technologies GmbH & Co. KG can celebrate its 20th anniversary this year.
The first years after the foundation were characterized by numerous innovative product developments, for example the Press Analyser PAL 3000, an analyzer for crimping presses and the predecessor of today's PAL 4000. The MOSS, a lubrication system for sheet metal strips and tools, was also one of the first products developed in-house. In 2004, we launched our first micrograph laboratory, the Microlab ML 3000, a major breakthrough and the foundation stone for an entire Microlab series.
Only one year after the foundation we were able to sign a first contract with a major customer in the automotive sector and in the following years we received many more major orders. In order to ensure optimal, worldwide on-site support, a global sales network was established. Initially mainly active in the automotive supply sector, we were able to win numerous customers from other industries such as aviation, telecommunications and medical technology over time.
Another milestone in the company's history was the certification of our quality and environmental management system according to the ISO standards 9001 and 14001 in the year 2005. As it gradually became too small at the old location, the move to a larger company building in the district of Eberhardsreuth followed in 2010. Here, the manufacturing and development area could be further expanded in the following years with the growing product portfolio.
Today, C-tec is an established supplier of quality testing systems for safeguarding and optimizing the crimping process. A team of experts from design, electronics engineering and software development work together to deliver products that are a perfect fit for customer requirements. A bundle of services rounds off the range of products and services.
