The Crimp force monitor CFM MX is designed for use in the mass production of wire harnesses. The testing device is mounted on the crimping press and receives the signals of a piezoelectric quartzsensor, which is installed in the press. The measuring signals of the force sensor are continuously compared with reference values of a "good" crimp. If a measured value is outside of the preset tolerance, the device raises an acoustic alarm and stops the machine. The "bad" crimp can now be removed. The quality inspection system CFM MX gives you the assurance that only quality-tested parts will be delivered to your customers.
