Light barriers with alternating light operation (WLS) use pulsed light and are therefore better suited for environments with ambient light influences. To operate the WLS an alternating light amplifier GSV 3 is necessary. The light barrier WLS 02 is equipped with two connections for fork light barriers with larger fork widths.
Blow-off fork light barriers have a compressed air connection, with which the diode is cleaned. This significantly increases reliability and lifetime. Blow-fork light barriers are therefore also well suited for use in environments with increased pollution levels.
